How to play

Your first fights

Boxing Underdog is boxing, not a button game. Seven things to know before the bell.

  1. 1

    Set up your space

Clear a play space of at least 2 × 2 m and fight roomscale: step in, step out, circle your opponent. No room? Pick stationary play and move with the thumbstick.

  2. 2

    Throw real punches

There are no buttons for punches. Your hands are the gloves: speed, angle and where the punch lands decide what it does. A short, clean shot beats a wild swing.

  3. 3

    Keep your guard up

Hands up by your face, chin down. Block with the gloves, slip and duck with your head, then answer. Stance detection reads how you stand.

  4. 4

    Watch the damage

The damage engine keeps score for real: faces swell, fighters stagger, a stunned opponent is open. A clean shot to the jaw can end the fight.

  5. 5

    Train, then fight

Warm up in the training gym on the heavy bag, then start the career: 12 chapters from the amateur gym to the title.

  6. 6

    Go ranked

Fight real players online. Your ELO puts you in a division: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Ruby. The Weekly Cup runs every Saturday and the best fighters of the month meet in the Monthly Championship.

  7. 7

    Watch it again

Every fight is recorded. Open it on UNDERDOG TV in 3D from any angle, share a film of your knockout, or log in on this site with a code from the game (Settings, Account) to see your stats.
